Duties:

• Provide direct patient care
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Skills:

• Experience in home care or similar healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and systems
• Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Strong attention to detail for accurate medical documentation
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide quality patient care
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
