Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Assist clients with mobility, including lifting or transferring them safely. Maintain a clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Experience Previous experience in a nursing home or hospice care setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking for individuals with specific dietary needs. Experience in working with elderly people is a plus. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper caregiving techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
