JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school graduate or certified equivalent; Completion of CNA certificate with current GA license
Licensure:
Certified Nursing Assistant state of Georgia; current CPR certification
Requirements:
According to the Personal Care Home Guidelines, staff must receive training in, CPR, Emergency evacuation procedures, medical and social needs and characteristics of the resident population, resident rights and receive a copy of the Long Term Care Abuse reporting act within the first sixty (60) days of employment.
Experience:
Previous experience with geriatric residents desirable
Skills:
Must have sincere desire to work with geriatrics and possess knowledge of medical and social needs of geriatric residents. Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and use proper body mechanics.
