Taylor, MI Job Details Per diem $17 - $23 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care to patients in their homes. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, support their comfort and safety, and help maintain a clean and healthy environment while following the care plan developed by the nursing team.
Compensation:
$17 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:
Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed Sanitize and clean patient's room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages Work with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical health Provide carefully documented patient information in charts for multiple vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration when required Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient Provide companionship and emotional support to patients Follow the care plan and agency policies and procedures Accurately document patient care and activities as required Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient rights
Qualifications:
Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families Experience and knowledge working with bedridden patients and those who suffer from age-related illness such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred Job seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GED Capable of administering catheters and enemas, preferred, but not required Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Current CPR certification preferred Previous home health or caregiving experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred About Company At Home Care Wellness , we know that quality patient care starts with supporting our team.
