Role Responsibilities (Healthcare Assistant) As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in the physical and emotional well-being of residents, working alongside nurses and other professionals to provide person-centred care and promote independence. Support with daily personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding). Assistance with mobility and emotional support. Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health. Maintaining records and a safe environment. Requirements Nursing Assistant/TCAE qualification or professional experience in the sector. Intermediate level of English (spoken and written). EU nationality (50/50 rule: Irish regulations require that at least 50% of staff in nursing homes are EU citizens). Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work as part of a team.
