POSITION SUMMARY

This position reports to the Director of Operations and under their direction shares responsibility for the daily operation of the AFC group home. In addition to providing supervision, protection, and assistance with personal care to the residents in the home, the House Supervisor provides direct supervision of shift supervisors (if applicable) and other direct support professionals in the home.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred LPN preferred

COMPETENCIES

Must meet or be capable of obtaining all the qualifications of a Direct Support Professional and Shift Supervisor as it relates to the specific home they will be managing. Preferred education of RN or LPN or experience working in a skilled nursing setting. Have at least one year of experience working with the population being served. Be willing to cooperate fully with a resident, the resident's family, a designated representative of the resident and the agency responsible in providing for the resident as determined by their Individual Plan of Service IPOS). Be suitable to meet or support the physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural, and social needs of each resident. Be capable of handling emergency situations. Be capable of completing any required reports and following written and verbal instructions. Proficiency or ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems, recordkeeping, and standard office equipment. Be capable of obtaining a basic knowledge of the house utilities and other systems in place and communicate repair needs and/or schedule repairs as needed. Be capable of training and supervising staff and volunteers working in the home. Have a passion for and maintain the spiritual integrity of the ministry. Have the endorsement of the Director of Operations and the President of David's House Ministries. Have a valid Michigan driver's license.

HOURS & PAY

Full-time, salaried Pay is based on experience
