In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, aging adults requiring senior care, or those managing conditions like dementia or autism, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment that encourages growth and dignity. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while positively impacting your community every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and noting changes in condition to ensure safety and well-being Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain compliance and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to support residents' dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards Support residents during social activities and community outings to promote engagement and independence Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies, including incident reports and progress notes Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs requiring immediate attention Certification in CPR and First Aid to respond effectively during emergencies Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident's lifts Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassionate communication and patience for working with diverse populations Join us in providing exceptional support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
