Job Description
Eden Pathways is seeking a Personal Care Assistant or CNA to join our home care agency. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in-home care, enjoy helping those in need, and have a flexible schedule. Eden Pathways is a physician-owned and managed home care agency that serves clients throughout the metro. We offer both part-time and full-time positions. The pay range is $20.00/hr- $24.00/hr We are specifically looking to fill DAY shifts between 8 AM to 10 PM. You can choose morning, afternoon, or evening shifts. Compensation is competitive and will be determined by several factors including experience in-home care and if you have a CNA license.
Job Duties:
Reads and follows the established plan of care Observation, reporting, and documentation of patient status and the care or service furnished Basic infection control procedures Demonstrate appropriate and safe techniques in personal hygiene and grooming Perform additional delegated tasks, including medication administration, upon completion of instruction and return demonstration. Prepare meals, including modified diets and food safety Promotes a safe and comfortable environment for the client and family while respecting the dignity and privacy of the home environment Adheres to all agency policiesEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate
- Home Health Aide course completion preferred
- Satisfactory completion of competency test
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend and carry out directions and instructions
- Able to function effectively with minimal direct supervision
- Good health status and emotional stability
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service and service excellence
