Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to an individual who has autism and is 40 years old. He lives with his parents but they are both older so they are looking for someone to hang out with him. In this vital role, you will assist the client with daily activities, help with managing finances, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help improve the quality of life for him. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing your skills in patient care and caregiving. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Help with teaching budgeting Perform light cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the client's environment Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during patient monitoring and caregiving activities Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring required Experience assisting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued Certification in CPR and First Aid is strongly preferred; ongoing training encouraged Previous work adhering to HIPAA regulations ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy is essential Must be 18 and have a drivers license Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives! Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
