(1 on 1 position with individual) Must be open to morning and evening varied shifts We are hiring full-time and part-time We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). As a DSP, you will work closely with 1 individual in their home and within the community, providing support to enhance their overall quality of life. The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence by engaging in various activities and tasks.
  • Provide one-on-one support tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes socialization and community engagement.
  • Support individuals in developing and enhancing daily living skills to promote independence.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for skill-building activities and experiences.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with individuals, their families, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, achievements, and any incidents as required.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old Valid driver's license Successful background clearance Able to work every other weekend/holiday With this specific individual, the DSP must be comfortable with swimming in a pool with individual, catheter care, ostomy care, medication, feeding
