Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location:
Duluth, MN (other locations as needed)
Status:
Part- or Full-time Pay rate: $20.50 per hour At Winter Family Care, we believe every person deserves to live a life of dignity, independence, and respect. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities-empowering them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes and communities.
What You'll Do:
Support individuals with daily living skills, community involvement, and personal goals. Assist with medication administration, hygiene, meals, and mobility. Foster meaningful relationships and encourage independence. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards. Assist individuals with planning of daily activities and community outings by encouraging community integration. Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
What You'll Bring:
A compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and clean background check (required for all roles) Experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right individual(s)!
