• Full-time Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
• Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being is protected
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations

Skills:

• Experience in senior care, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and ability to recognize and report abnormalities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• Experience in social work or childcare is a plus
