Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a PCA Worker, CFSS Worker, Homemaker, or Direct Support Professional across various locations! In these vital roles, you will provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals with disabilities, children, and families to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether assisting with daily living activities or implementing positive support strategies, your efforts will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. MCS is currently hiring for each of these positions. We offer an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while making a lasting impact in your community. Duties (depending on the position and individual needs) Assist with activities for daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, or feeding Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as budgeting, assisting with medications, transportation, shopping, meal preparation, housework, or communication Implement postive support programming to support the individuals through challenges and opportunities Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and adults with disabilities, promoting positive social interactions Document client progress accurately and maintain detailed records of services provided Respond promptly to emergencies or crises using crisis management skills to ensure safety for all involved Respond prompty to client grievances and keeping the Designated Coordinator aware of any preferences, or service delivery issues Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in human services is preferred but not required for some positions; training will be provided Strong understanding of child protective services, family law, and child welfare practices is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility needs safely Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members effectively Knowledge of behavioral health principles and crisis intervention techniques is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Pay:
$18.50 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 40.0 per week
