Hearth Residential Homes A Hearth Residential Homes Direct Support Professional (IHS) must be caring, compassionate, flexible, enjoy social activities, and have great people skills while assisting individuals with disabilities The Individualized Home Support (IHS) professional will train and assist clients in independent services so they can remain successfully in their homes and community. The IHS worker works directly with clients in their community. Some driving may be required and possible evening shifts. Clear background study and valid driver's license/No driving violations in the past 3 years required. All required training will be provided. Must be 21 years or older.
Responsibilities :
Train and assist clients in independent services so they can remain successfully in their homes and community. Interact with and lead the clients by modeling appropriate behavior and maintaining normalization principles. Carry out activities as scheduled by the Director. Completing accurate charting Document all client information - daily progress notes, program goal charting, communication notes, and other information as needed. Safely transport clients as needed.
