Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Full and Part-Time Awake NOC, and Sleep NOC shifts available!
Location:
Staples, Motley, and Pillager, MN Position Summary We are seeking Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support adults with disabilities, chronic mental illness, and/or traumatic brain injuries in a residential setting. This role focuses on helping individuals live as independently as possible through daily care, skill-building, and community involvement. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and support with daily living activities, including personal care Administer medications according to established procedures Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry Support individuals in developing and maintaining life skills Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities Implement behavior support strategies and respond calmly to challenging situations Complete accurate and timely documentation Follow all care plans, policies, and state regulations Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and healthcare professionals Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study and pre-employment drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation accurately Ability to follow state and company policies, including 245D requirements Schedule Requirements Full and Part-time positions available Evening (3PM-7PM), Awake NOC (7PM-7AM), and Sleep NOC (9PM-9AM) shifts available!
