DSP Responsibilities:
Personal care and housekeeping services
Assist the residents in developing or executing independent living skills
Provide written and/or electronic communication
Accompany residents to appointments, via van transport, when necessary.
DSP Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
A demonstrated customer-service approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities.
Ability to effectively communicate with the resident and provider. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
