- $21 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification First aid Driver's License Full Job Description Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing, and we're seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients.
Compensation:
$18- $21 hourly
Responsibilities:
Travel with patients to health care service providers, doctors' offices, grocery stores, or for other errands, as needed Supervise medications and assist patient in organizing, refilling, and taking medications, as well as meal planning and preparation Help patients accomplish personal care tasks like scheduling appointments, calling doctors' offices, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details Help patients complete exercise, and physical therapy and ambulate the patient as indicated in the care plan Take care of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, bed making, laundry, etc.Administer Medications:
Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake.Resident Response:
Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care.Light Housekeeping:
Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space.Service Charting:
Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards. Assistance withADLs:
Support residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to each individual's Client Service Plan, with a zero-tolerance policy for missed tasks.Qualifications:
Carry a valid state driver's license, current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, you may also be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills Conclusion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a bonus Extreme Ownership
