Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with their daily needs and promote their independence. This role involves providing personalized support, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring safety and well-being. The position offers consistent hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to making a meaningful difference in others' lives. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and household tasks. Support individuals in participating in community activities and social engagements. Monitor and ensure the safety of clients during interactions and activities. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders using basic computer skills. Document observations, progress, and any incidents accurately and timely. Promote a respectful, encouraging environment that fosters independence and self-esteem. Follow all safety protocols and organizational policies to maintain a secure setting for clients. Skills Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently. Comfortable using computers and technology for communication and completing work-related tasks. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude toward individuals with diverse needs. Good organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently. Ability to work independently within scheduled hours while collaborating as part of a team.
