Job Description

Make a Meaningful Difference While Working Flexible Hours We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and friendly Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join a supportive caregiving team assisting a woman with daily living activities in her private home and community. This is a part-time position with multiple shifts available throughout the week . You may work one shift or several shifts , depending on your availability. Training is provided, so previous PCA experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. We are looking for caregivers who are reliable, respectful, comfortable working independently, and interested in building a positive and supportive working relationship.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assisting with intermittent catheter care Helping with light stretching and exercises ( training provided ) Preparing meals and assisting with cooking based on dietary needs and preferences Performing light housekeeping to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home Providing transportation and assistance with community activities and appointments Assisting with mobility and transfers Maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy at all times Available Shifts We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
Sunday:
11:00 AM-6:00 PM (occasional)
Monday:
5:00 PM-9:00
PM Tuesday:
6:00 AM-9:00 AM and/or 3:00 PM-9:00
PM Wednesday:
6:00 AM-9:00 AM and/or 3:00 PM-9:00
PM Thursday:
5:00 PM-9:00
PM Saturday:
11:00 AM-6:00 PM (occasional) You do not need to be available for every shift. We welcome applicants who are available for one or multiple shifts and will work with qualified candidates to create a schedule based on availability. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate, dependable, and respectful Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently in a private home A good communicator Able to follow care instructions and maintain confidentiality Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting 70lbs Willing and able to drive an accessible van Able to provide reliable transportation to and from work Comfortable assisting with personal care and intermittent catheter care At least 18 years old A valid driver's license is required. Previous experience is helpful but not required. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Personal care or PCA work Home and community-based care Direct support Working with people with disabilities Assisted living Nursing homes Group homes Healthcare or caregiving Important Work Environment Information This position takes place in a private home that is completely smoke-free, vape-free, and tobacco-free, both indoors and outdoors . Because the individual receiving care has a medical respiratory sensitivity, employees must arrive at work free from tobacco or smoke odors and avoid strong fragrances or scents while working. Maintaining this environment is important for the individual's health and comfort.
Pay:
$24.84 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 20.0 per week
