Job Description

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Starting Pay:

$18.50 per Hour Blue Sky Community Services is seeking responsible, caring, and compassionate individuals to join our Day Program team, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Location:

Must be available to work at either our Cape Girardeau or Jackson location.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No evenings, weekends, or major holidays Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Responsibilities Provide safe transportation to and from our day program and community outings Assist with daily activities and community integration Implement positive behavior supports Teach and encourage independent living skills Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and choices Complete required documentation and daily progress notes Maintain client confidentiality Work as part of a supportive and compassionate team Experience We Value We encourage applicants with experience in any of the following roles to apply: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Home Health Aide (HHA) Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Habilitation Technician Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
