Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at our day habilitation center and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, aging seniors, or those managing health conditions such as dementia or autism, you will be a trusted partner in their daily routines and long-term care plans. This rewarding position offers an opportunity to foster positive relationships while empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when necessary Administer medications following physician's order after obtaining Level 1 Medication Administration training Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas Assist with providing transportation to clients attending and obtain Class E license Support residents' emotional and social needs through engaging activities, companionship, and encouraging participation in community outings or group activities Follow established care plans meticulously, documenting observations, interventions, and progress to ensure continuity of care Skills Proven experience working with a focus on patient care and caregiving Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient privacy and confidentiality Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification provided upon hire Strong observational skills for patient monitoring, including recognizing signs of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, families, and other professionals Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual receives respectful, attentive care.
