Job Description

Direct Support Professional (Caregivers) Needed - 2nd Shift! We are looking for caring, reliable team members to work our 2nd shift (approximately 3 - 11 pm). Part-time and full-time positions are available, and schedules include at least one weekend day. Our locations are in Liberty, Blue Springs, Independence, Gladstone, and Lees Summit. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you will support people in learning the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of life such as community involvement, job skills, education, personal health, and daily living skills. No degree or prior experience required - we provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed in this role. Qualifications & Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable, personally-owned vehicle available for use during shifts Current auto insurance Ability to pass all required background checks (offers are contingent on this). Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED. Reliable attendance so the people we support receive consistent care and support. Full range of motion and physical ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and daily living tasks, and to complete and maintain required training and certifications. Because you will be transporting the people we support, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance are required on your first day of employment. What you'll do Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and medication management. Support individuals with personal care and good hygiene. Provide transportation for errands, shopping, and appointments. Encourage and support individuals' hobbies, interests, and community involvement. Provide habilitation and complete required documentation. Follow all health and safety protocols and individualized support plans.
