What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you'll assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, skill-building, and personal growth. The focus of this position is habilitation, which means teaching and supporting people to become as independent as possible.Responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on in-home care and assistance with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal organization
- Teaching life skills that promote independence and confidence
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor
- Assisting individuals with community engagement and pursuing personal goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation (progress notes, medication logs, timesheets, and reports) Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to complete required certifications (training provided): o Level One Medication Administration (L1MA) o CPR and First Aid Experience as a caregiver, DSP, or in-home support staff is a plus, but not required—we provide all necessary training! Why You'll Love Working with Us
