Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Document care plans, patient observations, and other relevant information accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Skills Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in assisted living environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of patient monitoring, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively Knowledge of care plans development and medication administration procedures Skilled in assisting with personal transportation needs and supporting residents' participation in community activities Demonstrated caregiving experience within long-term care or geriatrics settings is preferred Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate care. Pay:
$8.00 - $8.50 per hour
