Do you love great customer service, enjoy working with food and coffee, and have a heart for helping others succeed? COR Enterprises is looking for a Deli Direct Support Professional to join our team at The COR Deli! This is more than a food-service job. You'll help create a welcoming customer experience while teaching and supporting individuals with disabilities as they build valuable workplace skills. If you're dependable, positive, hands-on, and ready to make a difference every day, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Prepare delicious food and coffee items for our customers. Keep food safely stored, prepared, and served according to Health Department requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe deli and coffee shop. Keep supplies stocked and help order items as needed. Provide friendly, cheerful customer service to customers, coworkers, and COR consumers. Teach and coach consumers as they learn new skills and responsibilities. Support individual goals outlined in Personal Support Plans (PSPs) and contracts. Document activities and complete incident reports accurately and on time when needed. Participate in team meetings, staffing, trainings, and other activities supporting the people we serve. Build positive working relationships with families, case managers, vocational professionals, healthcare professionals, and other community partners. Follow all safety, health, confidentiality, and agency policies. Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training. Pitch in with other related duties as needed to keep the deli running smoothly. What We're Looking For Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a valid driver's license Experience working with individuals with disabilities. Experience in food service, coffee service, or as a barista. Ability to stand, move, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Computer literacy-or a willingness to learn! Strong verbal and written communication skills. A positive attitude, patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others grow. What You Can Expect Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm Occasional flexibility in hours may be required. Background and Driving Record checks are required. The position may involve exposure to physical or verbal aggression and blood-borne pathogens. Appropriate training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided as required.
