Job Description

The Arc Western Montana is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to make a real difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. Whether you're starting your career or bringing caregiving experience from healthcare or elder care, this is meaningful, hands-on work. We'll train you every step of the way.
Position:
Direct Support Professional Location:
Group Homes around Missoula What we offer: Starting pay: $17.00•18.00 per hour $1.00 per hour overnight shift differential (11pm-7am) Paid training in CPR, First Aid, Mandt, and more Flexible schedules to fit your life, including full-time, part-time, and relief shifts Entry-level friendly. No experience needed. We hire motivated people with a strong work ethic, including high school graduates and those new to the field. Benefits (varies by position type): Up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year for full-time employees Medical insurance starting at $85/month (for eligible employees) Affordable vision, dental and life insurance Voluntary hospital indemnity, critical illness and accident plans 403(b) retirement plan with up to 3.5% company match Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Your role: Support individuals with daily living tasks such as meals, hygiene, and medication assistance Assist with community outings, social events, and skill-building activities Keep accurate electronic records and documentation Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment Be a positive presence and help others live with dignity and independence Work schedules available:
Day:
7:00am•3:00pm
Evening:
3:00pm•11:00pm
Overnight:
11:00pm•7:00am
Relief:

What We're Looking For:
You don't need experience to apply — just compassion, dependability, and a willingness to learn. We'll provide all the training you need. To join our team, you must: Be at least 17 years old Pass a background check and drug screening (as required by Montana state law) Communicate clearly in English, including using basic electronic systems Experience in caregiving or support work is welcome, but not required
