Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals across various care settings. In this vital role, yu will support residents and clients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. This paid position offers opportunities to make a meaningful difference while developing your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Location Raleigh , Apex, Knightdale, Zebulon, Cary, Nc. Responsibilities Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor patient observations and vital signs regularly to detect changes in health status. Support medication administration following proper protocols and medical documentation procedures. Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to accurately record patient information and care activities. Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, catheter care, and memory care as needed. Assist with medical procedures including Hoyer lift transfers, wound care, and basic first aid such as CPR when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and ensuring infection control standards are met in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensing required; experience as a Personal Care Assistant is highly valued. Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is advantageous. Ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond swiftly to changing needs. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation; strong communication skills essential for effective patient care delivery.
