Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / In-Home Aide, providing vital support to individuals in the Apex/ Holly Springs. This energetic role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized, high-quality care in their homes. You will be a key part of a dedicated caregiving team committed to promoting independence, dignity, and well-being through attentive and respectful assistance. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's and dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and catheter care Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely and comfortably Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning to ensure a safe and clean environment Document medical records accurately and maintain detailed medical documentation for each client Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent in-home caregiving experience with a focus on senior or home health care Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and dementia care techniques Certifications including CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications such as hospice care or Alzheimer's care are a plus Ability to work independently in clients' homes while maintaining professionalism and compassion Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Prior experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation is preferred Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly improve lives!
