In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care settings. Your energetic and positive approach will help enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive environment that values your skills and commitment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, employing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to support mobility and prevent injury during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties within resident rooms and common areas Skills Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or personal care homes Knowledge of assisted living procedures, home & community care practices, and group home operations Strong understanding of ADLs assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with dementia care techniques, behavior management strategies, and Alzheimer's care best practices Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community outings or resident appointments Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion, patience, and effective communication abilities Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional senior care or supporting individuals with disabilities!
