As a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Direct Support Professional position at RSI Community, you will gain hands on experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence, pursue personal goals, and engage in their communities. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will assist with daily activities, encourage community involvement, and help foster meaningful relationships. This position provides valuable experience and trainings, while also making a positive impact in the lives of others.Provided Training and Certifications:
On-site training Orientation NCI A and B (National Crisis Intervention,, Behavioral Intervention training- prevention and defensive techniques) CPR/Standard First Aid (through the American Red Cross) Medication Administration (taught by registered nurse) Driving Safety Autism Friendly training
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration Respond to medical or behavioral needs following established procedures Encourage individuals to engage in social, recreational, and skill building activities Document individual progress of goals, incidents/observations and interventions in individual portal Light housekeeping, maintaining a clean and safe environment Commit to working at RSI Community for 6 monthsBenefits:

Days and hours vary depending on operational needs, with a typical schedule of 1-2 days per week.Qualifications:
