Night Caregiver For Level 3

Client's Home and Community Outings Chapel Hill NC Schedule:

3 Weekday Night Shifts (5-6 hours each session) 1 Weekend Day Shift (8 hours)

Part-Time Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Night Caregiver to support a level 3 cerebral palsy individual. The ideal candidate will provide essential care, companionship, and assistance in a nurturing environment to enhance the client's quality of life. Key Responsibilities 

Physical and Personal Assistance:

Assist with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living. Implement a bedtime routine, including brushing teeth and transferring from wheelchair to bed or toilet, utilizing a Hoya Lift (training provided). 

Activity Engagement:

Support and participate in activities designed to enhance the client's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Facilitate leisure and recreational activities as appropriate. 

Meal Preparation:

Prepare meals as needed and assist with clean-up and proper kitchen hygiene. 

Housekeeping Tasks:

Perform essential housekeeping tasks that contribute to the health and welfare of the client. 

Monitoring and Documentation:

Monitor and report on health and safety status. Complete documentation of activities and any significant events during shifts. Submit required documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines. 

Companionship:

Provide supportive companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregivers as needed. 

Transport Assistance:

Assist with community outings and transportation of the individual (transportation may be required).

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
