You will work closely with clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences, providing essential care that enhances quality of life. Paid positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every contribution. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning patient areas and laundry Document care plans, patient progress, and incident reports clearly and thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for residents or clients Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior care or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care practices Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations Familiarity with working within HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Strong skills in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient monitoring Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts; capable of assisting residents with mobility needs Experience working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or neurodegenerative conditions like dementia or autism Join us in delivering exceptional personal care that empowers individuals to live their best lives!
