  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at The Laurels and The Haven in Highland Creek a Terra Bella community.
The successful candidate will play a significant role in providing essential support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene.
Support clients with mobility needs, including assistance with walking and transferring from beds to wheelchairs. Monitor clients' health and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members. Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment. Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in personal care assistance (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred. Previous experience in a caregiving role is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. Ability to handle physical tasks involved in patient care, such as lifting and transferring clients. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
