Job Description
Personal Care Assistant We are seeking a reliable and caring personal care assistant to help our elderly clients. We are looking for someone that is organized, flexible, and flexible with a great attitude. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities Assist clients with their personal care and hygiene Plan and organize meals for clients Plan and organize transportation to or from appointments Perform light housekeeping duties that clients may perform (e.g. laundry, replacing medication) Report any changes in client condition to the Supervisor Assist in preparing and maintaining client housing environment (e.g. changing clothes, bedding, etc.) Report any safety concerns or unusual developments in client condition to the Supervisor Provide positive support for the clients (exemplify ideal behavior and attitudes) Adhere to health and safety standards Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Experience and Skills Experience with personal care services is a plus but not required. We will train the right person! Experience with Alzheimer's disease and/or AD (appointments only) is a plus but not required. We will train the right person! Strong attention to detail is a must! Must have strong organization skills. Must be able to follow instructions, take direction, and work independently. Must be able to follow health and safety standards. Must be able to follow job-related documentation. (i.e., OSHA, HIPAA-related regulations)
