www.harmonycommunitycare.co.uk Job description To provide personal care and assistance in accordance with the Northern Ireland Social Care Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015. Responsibilities Assisting with waking up/going to bed, washing, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, hair care, and dressing. Prompting, or assisting with prescribed medication in line with care plans and training. Preparing nutritious snacks and meals, aiding with feeding, and ensuring fluids are accessible. Assisting with toileting and managing incontinence care. Helping service users move safely around their home, transfers (e.g., chair to bed), and using aids like hoists. Light cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, ironing, making beds, and taking out refuse. Shopping for essentials and collecting prescriptions. Supporting social activities, hobbies, appointments, and providing emotional support. Observing health changes, reporting concerns to managers, and keeping accurate records. Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills Must have good communication skills along with access to a car for business purposes. Desirable Skills Experience is a caring environment and or a health and social care qualification is desirable.
