Life Skills Coach (Direct Support)

Here we grow again! IQuOLIOC is seeking Life Skills Coaches to provide therapeutic services for I/DD participants. Serious inquiries only. Read description below.

Position:

• Life Skills Coach (Direct Support) for adults and children with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) diagnoses
• Services may be home, community, or facility based.
• Service hours will be first shift, ranging from (7:00 am-4:00 pm) and second shift (3:00 pm-8:00 pm).

Must be available to work weekends.

Position Duties:

• Maintain safety and supervision of participants
• Support the personal, emotional, and behavioral health of participants
• Assist participants with personal care and other needs
• Support activities of daily living
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR or attend training provided by employer
• Must be able to traverse uneven ground
• Must be able to work in various environments and temperatures due to the range of outdoor activities conducted
• Ability to lift a person

Key Skills:

• Applicant must be flexible and able to work in a team atmosphere
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Must demonstrate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay:

• Starting rate of pay is currently $15 per hour which includes the employee's regular rate of pay and a pay differential.
