This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. As a PRN In-home Aide, you will deliver personalized support, promote independence, and ensure safety while fostering a warm and respectful environment. Your expertise will help clients maintain their quality of life through attentive, professional caregiving. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids safely and effectively Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Support clients with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when needed Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensure required; prior experience in assisted living or nursing home settings preferred Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home health environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs measurement CPR certification required; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for documentation purposes Experience using mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and performing catheter or wound care preferred Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required Join us as a PRN In-home Aide and become part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality, personalized home health care.
