Job Description
Schedule Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-8:00pm Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Care Aide, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and maintaining safety in their home environment. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care in the home, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for those you serve. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help promote independence and improve quality of life for clients across various care environments. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly Assist with medication reminders while following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies Requirements Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid are not required but preferred; HIPAA compliance and additional training in dementia care or Alzheimer's care is a plus Experience working with memory impairments is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Join us in delivering exceptional home care through dedicated support and compassionate service.
