Job Description

Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Household care and maintenance Accompany consumer on community outings with the approval or request of parent/guardian Implement individualized care plans and document progress Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times Maintain a clean and organized living environment Attend any meetings/training's that may be scheduled by the supervisor Submit completed forms to the agency by the schedule deadline Complete daily notes within 24 hours of providing services
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred (e.g., nursing home, hospice care, home care) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Not listed on the NC Health Care Abuse Registry Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices, including resident rights and dignity Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities Basic understanding of medical terminology and ability to use medical equipment First aid and CPR certification is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen We offer competitive pay rates, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 44.0 - 50.0 per week
