This is it. Horizons Residential Care Center is hiring Weekend Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home environment.
Position Details Schedule:
Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday)
Shifts Available:
8 or 12-hr shifts First Shift Second Shift 3rd
Shift Location:
Rural Hall and/or
Bethania NC Pay:
Starting at $15/hour (based on experience) Why This Role Works Ideal for supplemental income Consistent weekend schedule Opportunity to grow into full-time What You'll Do Support residents with daily routines (meals, hygiene, activities) Encourage independence and skill-building Assist with community engagement and social activities Maintain a clean, safe home environment Document care and daily progress Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors What You'll Bring Positive attitude and reliability Interest in working with individuals with disabilities Ability to follow care plans and routines Strong communication skills Requirements Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs Willingness to complete required training
Preferred:
Experience in caregiving, DSP, or healthcare CPR/First Aid certification Valid driver's license Work Environment This role takes place in a residential home setting focused on person-centered care, independence, and community inclusion.
