A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate individuals to join our team. DSPs provide essential support in daily living activities, transportation, and community integration. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with clients and team members to create meaningful progress and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities including personal care (toileting, bathing, behavior intervention, etc.), mobility, and meal preparation Promote skill-building and independence in home and community settings Support clients during appointments, outings, and daily routines Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care plans
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Strong interpersonal and communication skills Previous experience is a plus, but not required—comprehensive training is provided De-escalation of behaviors is a plus, but not required.
