Autryville, NC & Spring Lake, NC Job Types:
Full-Time & Part-Time Available Shifts & Pay Day Shift 2PM-PM • $13:00 per hour •
Rotating Weekend Night Shift:
8:00 PM - 8:00 AM $13.00 per hour Rotating schedule Every other weekend required
Weekend-Only Day Shift:
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM $14.00 per hour Weekend shifts only Please apply on

You will be required to obtain one as part of the hiring process. Position Overview As a Direct Support Staff/Paraprofessional , you will work directly with adolescents in a structured therapeutic group home environment. You will assist with implementing treatment plans, provide emotional and behavioral support, and help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with adolescents during daily routines and activities Support therapeutic programs, treatment goals, and behavioral plans Maintain a safe and structured environment Assist with crisis intervention, redirection, and de-escalation when needed Complete required documentation, including daily observations and incident reports Maintain appropriate professional boundaries Collaborate with therapists, case managers, supervisors, and other team members Follow all group home policies, procedures, and safety requirements Requirements Experience working with adolescents in residential, behavioral health, mental health, or a similar setting is
REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED required College coursework in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional when managing challenging behaviors Must be dependable, punctual, compassionate, and team-oriented Must be able to work scheduled 12-hour shifts Must pass required background checks and drug screening Why Join Us?
