  • Goldsboro is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional on a full-time basis in Wilson, NC.
This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients with their daily living activities while fostering an environment of respect, dignity, and independence. The position provides a competitive compensation of $17.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Responsibilities Provide assistance and supervision to clients with personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, and toileting, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Support clients during meals, encouraging the use of family-style dining to promote social engagement and proper nutrition. Oversee and aid clients in managing housekeeping duties such as clothing care, household cleaning, and yard maintenance. Assist clients in meal preparation and administration of nutritional supplements, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering strictly to protocols. Support clients in following prescribed diets and using adaptive equipment as necessary. Implement established behavioral programs, maintain accurate data collection, and uphold all safety procedures. Facilitate clients' participation in active treatment plans, including training objectives, data recording, and service goal implementation. Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, communicating relevant client information as directed by supervisory staff. Transport clients safely in company vehicles for appointments and community activities. Supervise clients during community outings and involvement in educational and day program activities. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational excellence. Requirements High School Diploma or GED minimum educational requirement. Valid North Carolina driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age.
