Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Aides, multiple positions to provide exceptional support and assistance to a male client, 8-4, 4-9, and 11-7. Care provided daily. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive environment for those they serve. Small dogs in the home. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties in accordance with health standards Document care activities, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members Qualifications Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs preferred Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in providing compassionate home health services that empower individuals to live comfortably and safely.
