PCA Personal Care Assistant

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) We are seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our assisted living team. In this role, you will provide daily personal care and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality care to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide assistance with transferring, ambulation, and positioning residents as needed Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when necessary Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report concerns to nursing or supervisory staff Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to resident care Follow all facility policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures Document care provided according to facility policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in assisted living, senior care, home care, or healthcare environments preferred Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and strong communication skills Ability to lift, assist, and transfer residents safely Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers Additional Requirements Applicants must provide proof of U.S. work authorization and successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening.
