Home Health Aide

We are seeking compassionate and energetic Home Health Aides to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to clients, supporting their daily needs and promoting their well-being. Whether part-time, full-time, evening, weekend, or live-in shifts, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, noting any changes or concerns in medical records or electronic health record (EHR) systems Help with medication administration following prescribed guidelines and document all medical documentation accurately Support clients with meal preparation and light cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Use medical terminology appropriately when recording patient care activities and communicating with healthcare teams Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and hospice care as needed Strong patient observation skills and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in assisted living settings Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems for accurate documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, CPR certification, and HIPAA compliance standards Experience in long-term care environments such as nursing homes or home & community care settings Ability to assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, cooking, laundry, and cleaning tasks Competence in using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and performing tasks such as vital signs measurement and catheter care Compassionate caregiving approach with excellent communication skills and patience for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Join us at Safe Harbor Homecare of New Jersey to make a positive impact on lives every day! $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
