Job Description

Community Care Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an adult participant in Freehold, NJ 07728.
SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 11 AM TO 3 PM
As a DSP, you will provide hands-on assistance and support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Services are delivered in accordance with the participant's individualized service plan. We are looking for a reliable, English-speaking DSP who enjoys helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with support needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated DSP seeking a rewarding part-time role in human services.
Starting Hourly Rate:
$25.00 per hour

PM Work Location:
One-on-one DSP services are provided primarily in the participant's home, with support focused on assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and promoting independence.

Case Specifics:
As a DSP, provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care needs as outlined in the participant's individualized service plan. Assist the participant with daily routines and activities while encouraging independence, self-direction, and participation. Support the participant in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment. Provide guidance, companionship, and encouragement to help the participant engage in daily living activities and achieve personal goals.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including routine daily tasks and personal support needs. Encouraging independence and active participation in daily activities. Providing companionship and emotional support. Supporting the participant in maintaining a positive daily routine. Assisting with light household cleaning and organization as needed. Promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and meaningful engagement. Maintaining the professional, respectful, and supportive environment expected of a DSP.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of reaching, bending, lifting, and performing light physical tasks as needed.
Experience, License, and Certification Requirements:
Valid New Jersey Driver's License preferred. Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must clear all required State/Federal criminal background checks, the Central Registry, and the CARI database. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Applicants may apply without certification but must obtain it before starting services. Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, and comprehension).
