Role:
As a DSP, you'll work one-on-one with an adult with disabilities—supporting life skills, community engagement, and personal goals such as independence, socialization, work and some ADL's. You'll help the individual participate meaningfully in their communities while encouraging autonomy, safety, and dignity.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with individuals in homes and community settings Assist with daily living (e.g., hygiene, dressing, meal prep) Assist in medication administration as needed Help plan and participate in community activities and outings Document progress and report changes in behavior or health Follow support plans (NJISP) and agency policies Use your own vehicle to transport individuals (mileage reimbursed) The Future Years is a purpose-driven agency founded by families, for families.
