Royal Community Support - Hackensack Branch Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community-Based Support Are you passionate about helping others live meaningful, independent lives? We provide one-on-one support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their private homes and throughout their community. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual living in Madison, Morris County, NJ. This is a community-based position. The DSP will provide support in the individual's home and assist with safe, structured participation in community activities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in a one-on-one setting. Maurizio attends day program five days per week, so a DSP to work with him from 6am-8am to help get him ready for day program during the week, as well as a DSP to receive him when he returns from day program to work with him about 3pm-8pm. He would need DSP support on the weekends as well. Maurizio would need assistance with meal prep, laundry, and grocery shopping. He also needs supervision regarding adjusting the water temperature for a shower.
