Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $23-33/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus - Scotch Plains, NJ Flexible Schedules | Weekly Pay | Paid Training | Growth Opportunities | Team Environment Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You'll Do As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence at home, in the community, and in the workplace. Responsibilities will include:
Building positive relationships and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks Supporting individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities Using adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication Encouraging independence and helping individuals develop new skills Monitoring health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment Communicating with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed Completing documentation and maintaining schedules Completing in ongoing training and professional development
Pay & Signing Bonus Starting Pay:
